Deck Drop
The first thing that goes into a case’s data room: the target’s pitch deck. Zoe reads it and turns every claim in it into a row of the Claim Ledger. Other data-room PDFs and CSVs can follow as evidence, but the deck comes first.
Why it matters
The deck is where the company says what it is. Reading it first means every later step has something to check against: the connected systems, the data-room evidence, and the founder's own answers are all measured against the claims the company chose to make. Without the deck, Zoe would only know what the systems say; with it, Zoe knows what was promised.
How Zoe reads it
You open the case, then drop the deck into the data room as the first upload. Zoe extracts each claim into the Claim Ledger. Other PDFs and CSVs can follow as evidence. The deck is stored for the case (unlike the connected systems, which are read and discarded) and goes with the rest of the case data when the case is sealed.
