Said vs True
The automatic cross-check that fires once the target’s books connect: what the deck said against what the systems record. It runs without anyone asking, and its results feed the Claim Ledger, the Founder Call questions, and the findings in the Readout Package.
Why it matters
The gap between what a company says and what its systems record is the most useful thing diligence can find, and the hardest to see by hand. Said vs True makes the comparison automatic and dated, so a claim of eighteen months of runway meets the books, a claim of forty percent growth meets the CRM, and the difference is a finding rather than an impression.
How Zoe reads it
It fires on its own once the books connect, and again as further systems arrive. It compares Claim Ledger rows to the normalized metrics behind the nine dimensions and marks each row confirmed, contradicted, or still open. Contradictions become findings; open rows become Founder Call questions.
